Belize--Jan. 7-28
Well ive decided to go to belize for 3 weeks with my sister before I leave for Africa. I'm just gonna be a beach bum and snorkel everywhere. When I get back, I will post my pics. Until then, have a great new year!

The Beginning
Hello to Family, Friends, and Random People,
I have to decided to keep in touch with everybody through this blog as well as MySpace.
Well it all started back in April '06 when I realized that I might actually graduate college in the next semester. I had temporally forgotten what is was I had wanted to do. Then It came to me, Join the Peace Corps. This decision was an easy one to make, since I have been in Dallas, Texas for the last 22 years of my life and I am soooo ready to leave. So, I started the application on-line and I think it took me about 2 months to actually finish it. About 2 weeks later, I went in for an Interview, which I bombed. But she nominated me anyway. So Here I am today, going to Malawi, Africa on February 25, 2007. My assignment is in the Environment Program and my Job Title is Community Natural Resource Management/Forestry Extension. Training is from March 1- April 27, 2007 and my Dates of Service are April 27, 2007 - April 26, 2009. Until I leave I will be working a lot and probably travel to Peru and Chile.
